After collecting Harvey gospel covers for years I was stunned to discover that Harvey also painted Jazz album covers for Savoy Records. This discovery came courtesy of the good folks at Intoxica Records (see Interesting Links).

Later, the noted gospel writer/producer Anthony Heilbut alerted me to Harvey's wonderful cover for "Living With The Blues". 

Just recently Jean-Francois Villetard, a prominent champion of jazz music and collector, contacted me and identified two spectacular Harvey covers done for Charlie Parker albums (now added below). It seems incredible that we could have missed these, and Jean-Francois is probably correct when he guesses that there could be more jazz Harvey covers we're missing. Please keep your eyes out!
